Bio
Once upon a time I worked in theater, film, TV development, as a literary scout, and as a teacher of freshman composition.
I now write – and edit – on a freelance basis.
Several of my editing clients have gone on to sell the projects I helped them re-work. My own work has been published by Armchair / Shotgun, Carve Magazine and The Paumanok Review, and has twice received Notable Mention by the storySouth Million Writer’s Award.
My first attempt at the personal essay appears in the anthology Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys from Dutton Press – Booklist called my essay a “standout” in the collection.
I am currently writing projects for TV and film.
I earned my BA at Yale University, and my Master’s degree at USC. I live in Los Angeles with my very large family.
